Well it's December 26th which to you Americans is just the day after Christmas,
but here in Canada it is NATIONAL HOT DEALS DAY, otherwise known as Boxing Day.

Just a little taste:
25" Color TV $167 CDN
DVD Player $88 CDN
Leather exec. Chair $79 CDN

and the list goes on, and on, and on....
Most every deal is local except for a few of the bigger nation wide stores
but I can guarantee that almost every store you go into will give you a better deal on anything.

If you are American and making US dollars then come visit Canda on the 26th to make this hot deal extra nice.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a quaint British custom. The upper classes gave holiday gifts to the lower class "help" the day after Xmas. I think that's how it goes.

Umm, I think he's trying to ask WHERE in Canada you might find the particular sales that were mentioned at the top. Some people who live in the Northeast might be tempted to pick some stuff up if we had a better destination than just "Canada".

Kind of like if I were to announce that there was a sale on 25" TVs for $10 somewhere in America - that really wouldn't help anyone would it?

People who live in Detroit have to drive SOUTH through the tunnel or over the bridge to get into Windsor Canada

And as for those prices - $167 for the 25" TV is just a little over $100 US.

Ya it does, but here we call it what it really is, "after Christmas sales". This boxing day thing I just don't get, unless it refers to Cananda's "national" sport of hockey, which is really more boxing anyway....and for one day they call it like it is?

lets not kid ourselves here. Boxing Day is dwarfed by the US day after Thanksgiving sales. example, Best Buy sale. Anyone in Canada wanna find me a GeForce 3 Ti-200 for $150 CAN? Or a 60gig WD for $75? Didn't think so. BTW, I'm Canadian but I know that the US has WAY hotter deals.

actually, holycrap, that is not entirely true. if you live in detroit, michigan, then a little bit of canada (windsor, ontario) is actually due south of you. neat little factoid.
