try giving a paper bill an acetone bath and see what happens..
Can you still roll them up and snort coke through them?
We got a few of the new plastic $100s in the store the other day. They feel really strange. I'm not sure how to describe it. It's sort of a cross between polyester fabric and plastic wrap. The fact that it's see through blows my mind.
As a metaphor for where their nation's bond rates have gone?
Nothing. Paper money is actually very tough and can withstand being washed, for the once in a blue moon time that happens. When really was the last time your wallet went through the wash?Australia's had em for 20 years. They're awsome. I dont understand why any country still issues paper money.
Paper money, lol. What happens if you leave a note in your pocket then wash them?!
Maybe Australia went to plastic bills because they couldn't figure out how to make a paper bill properly.I've seen paper notes destroyed by a wash dry cycle. Just sayin.
