Canadian Beauty (gorgeous pics)

<sigh> I wish I had more vacation time...

The fam just got back from visiting relatives in Calgary, Alberta (in Canada for some of you ignorant folks.) While there, they headed up to Lake Louise, Banff, and some glacier place. Now let me just say that my dad is horrible with a camera. He sucks at taking pictures. Never has the settings right, never bothers to learn proper techniques, never keeps his hand steady, can never frame a shot, etc. Keep this in mind when you see these pics. Needless to say, I was simply astounded. And jealous/mad cause I didn't get to go this year!

Lol, that's what I thought of. Beautiful pics though.

About 2 month ago I could have told you all of the geologic terms about this pic. We had diagrams and everything that look exactly like that. Alas, summer has rotted my brain and I can't remember a single thing about it.

I was hoping that the "glacial ravine" link might be a clever euphemism for a pic of the aforementioned Macromedia groupie, but no such luck.

Most of those pictures were breathtaking (espescially for someone who spent almost all of his life within a few feet of sea level.

Yeah, like I said, what I saw had me floored! I was speaking from previous experience. The S230 suits him well!
