wow, absolutely amazing pics. i was hoping to go up there this summer with a friend of mine and a former teacher but it didn't work out. i have too much to do before college starts in the fall. we were going to go to glacier, banff, rocky mount nat'l park, etc. alas, it didn't work out this summer but next summer it must!

I wa up there a few years ago and really want to try and get back there this fall. Went from edmonton over to Jasper. and down and out to calgary. was an awesome trip.

Very nice pics, you are right, that is a part of the Canadian beauty.

Ten years ago my wife and I went on our honeymoon to Banff & Lake Louise area and stayed at the chatteau in the photos above. that place\area is simply awesome.

This past May we visited that area again for our ten year anniversary. Spent ten days going from Edmonton to Calgary to Banff/Lake Louise to the Athabascan(sp) glacier and points in between, there are tons of beautiful scenec views every where you go in that entire area. We stayed at the Delta Lodge at kananaskis while we where there, very nice area as well. We got quite a few nice pics as well though Lake Louise was still frozen over except for the very edge and there was still quite a bit of snow on the ground.

We will definetly visit that area again and highly recommend it to anyone who has not gone there before.

The fam just got back from visiting relatives in Calgary, Alberta (in Canada for some of you ignorant folks.) While there, they headed up to Lake Louise, Banff, and some glacier place. Now let me just say that my dad is horrible with a camera. He sucks at taking pictures. Never has the settings right, never bothers to learn proper techniques, never keeps his hand steady, can never frame a shot, etc. Keep this in mind when you see these pics. Needless to say, I was simply astounded. And jealous/mad cause I didn't get to go this year!

Invermere is a little hole of a town with not thing to do. Radium hotspring is nice, but you will be tired of it very quickly. And, the regular local hangout is the lame Rocky Pizza joint & Chicken On The Run.
