some chump @ the gas station told me it would go up to $1.50 / L for the long weekend. I'm down in Windsor btw.
If I lived in Windsor I may or may not take a little trip across the border to get gas :Q
gah. not worth the hassle. according to the **gas** thread, SE Mich prices are $3.50 / gallon. so... *calculator*... yeah, it would only save me about $5 CDN. Add in the tolls for going to and fro (tunnel or bridge) - and it would actually cost me more:
(15.2 gallons capacity in my tank) x (3.50 / gallon for gas) = $53.20 USD
- exchange rate is currently 0.84; $53.20 x 1.16 = $61.17 CDN
- ~$8 CDN to go over and come back, not counting possible delays @ border (time = $).
i'm not very good at math, maybe someone can let me know if this sounds correct.
