To all Canadians out there: who will you be voting for on June 28th?

If you're not Canadian, please vote for that option so as not to skew the results.

If you are Canadian, please specify who you are voting for, or if you are not voting, and why.

I didn't feel like posting this in Politics and News because I don't think many Canucks like myself check that forum.

It depends on the latest polls, If the liberals look like they're going to win, I might vote Green. If the conform party(conservatives/reform) look strong, I might vote Liberal.

Personally I'm voting for the NDP.. why?

Liberals: Sponsorgate scandal, Martin is becoming more and more conservative each day with his corporate gifts and ship lines and what not.

Conservatives: It's basically the Alliance "repackaged".. they have their values upside down: 1st priority is military, 2nd priority is health care?? WTF?? Canada can use the U.S.'s military, no need to build up our own. Plus, they seem too religious for me, opposing abortions and same-sex marriages.

NDP: Seems like a good balance.. they want to give money to the communities to build up at the municipal level, and they seem to care about everyday Canadians' needs. They could turn into another McGuinty, going back on their word, but they seem like the least of three evils.

Bloc: Not worth mentioning. I could care less about separatism and they only win seats in Quebec (I'm an Ontarian).

Green: Don't want to waste my vote (as much ).

Liberals.

Simply because Martin is the only tha seems to have a grip of reality. Harper and Layton are promising way too much without a proper understanding of the Canadian Federal budget. Are you going to believe the opposition or the former Ministry of Finance that successfully reduced the national deficit? Martin is being conservative becuase that's the only way promises can be fulfilled, most o f Layton and Harper's proposal are only there to win the campaign and I'm sure alot of those promises will be forgotten if they win the election.

Why Harper is getting so much support is beyond my knowledge, his military proposal is absurd. Canada for one is not a military country, we're a peacekeeping one, so we don't need such a military force. I do agree that we need updating and modernizing since it's been deprived of funding, but I don't agree that here should be billions injected into this each year.

It's either going to be Green Party or NDP. I'm not sure yet, but I like either of those two parties' agendas TONS more than I like ones presented by the Liberals or the Conservatives.

Liberal, it means more money for my family, as well as the fact that I don't agree with the policies of any of the other parties.

I don't believe in taxing the estate with a value of more than 1 million + dollars (that will screw the middle class) which rules out NDP.

I think the conservatives are WAY to conservative (anti-same sex UNION (not marraige), and they want to pump billions into the military and they want to suck the dank of the USA). No conservative.

You like them because they are the least realistic.

No, I'm voting for them because I don't want to recognize Canada anymore.

I would be voting for the liberals if they still had the same policies as the chretien government, imo Paul Martin is no better than the conservatives. The only real choice i see here is the NDP. Paul Martin is a conservative disguised as a liberal, (no offense to america) but both of them want to suck up to the states.

Booyaka, to those watching the debate live, everyone's teaming up on the Liberals, I hope the Libs lose!

Layton creamed Martin about telling Canadians who they should and shouldn't vote for.. it's true that the NDP offers a real choice against the evils of the Conservative platform.

Harper attacked Martin, saying "how can you talk about numbers, when your track record is one of disappearing billions!"

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about, when you're rich you'll never vote for the NDP. I have no desire to see some poor mofo benefitting off of my brain.

"how can you talk about numbers, when your track record is one of disappearing billions!"

I guess talking about military and weapons is better way to spend those numbers. Instant dissappearance of billions.

AHAHA as if it matters! Canada is just a buffer zone for the US. You're our lackeys and nothing more. Without us you collapse.

Probably true of a lot of rich people (unfortunately), I can see why the rich would choose to be selfish and not willing to help others. (EDIT: Not like it'd help them, anyway, they are still mortal like everyone else, and they can't use their money after they're dead!! HAHAHAHAHA!)

I'd rather see the government helping those not as well off to start contributing to society rather than just leeching off society. The NDP can help these citizens start contributing effectively to our economy and build up Canada.

I dunno about that, It seems your economy is already in collapse mode. No offense, but as a smaller country we are doing fine economically.

I must confess I'm really scared by the prospect of Conservatives in power... I like Canada as Canada, not "America Light"...ugh!

I'm a Libertarian.

There are no candidates in my riding that are running as Libertarians "yet" so I'm not voting yet again.

I will not cast a vote for any other party because they are all the same crap dressed up differently with slightly different seasoning.

It is pathetic.

There is only one ideal I agree with virtually 100% of the time and that's Libertarian.

Well the Canadian economy is almost entirely dependent on the US, isn't it? I mean isn't an overwhelming majority of Canadian trade involving the US?
