this thread sucks.
anyway, I'm voting Conservative.
why:
Liberals: They've been in for too long, need someone to balance them out. Sponsorship scandal doesn't help, especially since Paul Martin was the finance minister, and should have known where the money he was dishing out was going.
NDP: No chance in hell of forming a government, and I don't like their platform
Green: see above
marijuana: ha!
CHP: Church and state should not mix.
Conservative: Tax cuts are a plus, our milatary is awful (though I don't think we need a huge military, we do need something), plus I'm fairly right wing in my thinking, so these guys fit the bill best for me. I'm still not quite sure why they are branded as too religious. Personal beliefs are not always manifested in the government. Look at Winnipeg, they had a gay mayor for the last 4 or so years, and the city isn't all rainbow and purple triangles now. Murray seperated his life from his political stance, I believe that those who are in the conservative party will do likewise.
Then again, I oppose most voluntary abortions and also would vote against marriage being redefined. But hey, that's the beauty of democracy, right? We can disagree and still accept each other's points of view.
