And we're laughing right along with you as you've wasted your money on 2GB of ram, a raptor and a 7800GTX
OT: A pretty accurate article, really. Games have gotten easier, not only in the PC realm but on consoles also. In another thread here on AT it explained the opinion of some of how gone are the days of great gameplay (NES) where it took real skill to beat the game and not the pussification of today's youth where players must be able to beat all new games.
If devs made games too hard, they alienate an certain amount of audience, because let's face it, we've all met my fair share of airhead people (read most people) who you can't see how they continue to live every day. It seems most devs are putting the option to choose the difficulty level. When I beat a game on easy, I don't get the same gratification I do if I beat it on hard, and often times I choose Hard so it's at least a challenge.
Multiplayer games--that's kind of hard since the elite skilled players are few and far between. I, too, played in the upper tiers of CAL CS 1.6 for a while and our team could take 95% of all CS players so meh. The reaction today is to either hack (because they think everybody else is) or cry about it and call them names. So resorts to the old engine and ability to play it with an onboard video card on their parents computer, thus attracting younger (more immature) players => namecalling and whining.

Not jealous at all, it's just that if you've read articles (on AT, let alone) that there is little to NO performance gain from 2GB of ram

My rig is very comparable to yours, 3000 Winchester @ 9x290 @ 1.55v, 1GB G.skill LC 1:1 and a 6600GT so I'm not sure what I have to be jealous of.
I also live on my own, pay for my full-time college tuition, maintain a well-paying web development job and am happily engaged to my girlfriend of two years.
I was just curious why you went through the extreme effort to increase your e-ego by looking at the guy's site and pointing out his practices. Anyway, enough thread clogging. I shouldn't have said anything at all.

Anyway, I do not think he is complaining over getting pwned! He just wants to bring skill back into the equation...
Edit ** Not meant as an attack either... I just could not see anything making any money for 12/hour on-site support and the website looks like it could very easily be a joke.

Just keep in mind that $12/hr doesn't necessarily equal the same amount of purchasing power in one part of the country as another.

Naw that's my real business website.... from about two years ago. I'm only 20 without completed degree now, and two years ago $12/hour was mighty fine. Now I do work for anywhere from $15-$20/hour and I consider that to be great money considering that I'm still a college student.
But yeah, the website is a joke (as in crappy)
Anyways, he sure sounded like he was whining to me. Since I pretty much rock the house in CS:S and DOD:S nowadays, I can't say I share his sentiment... but oh well, guess I'm just a candy ass gamer.

Oh ok, sorry if I offended you in any way, not my goal. I should have just sent you a PM now that I think about it. Good thing that you raised your price though, you are worth more than that
GL with college and finishing.
