There are two PCs on a domain, one is connected to a USB printer, and is sharing the printer.
The second PC had trouble printing, which turned out to be a DNS issue which was solved. I was able to re-add the printer, but it still has two jobs pending delete that prevent any more jobs from being sent.
I have tried the following to resolve the issue:
Restarting print spooler service (on both machines)
Looking within C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers directors (empty on both PCs)
Deleting the printer and re-adding it.
Deleting the printer, deleting the driver, then re-adding the printer.
Rebooting several times
Rebooting into Safe mode (can't start spooler sergice in SM, so no joy)
Each time I add the printer, It still has the the two jobs stuck there. Both machines are XP SP2 and it's a 2003 domain.
Thanks in advance.
