cannot Reach my router IP 192.168.0.1

My internet/network is fine EXCEPT I cannot reach my TP Link router 192.168.0.1. From a browser (IE or Chrome) every time I get "this site cannot be reached."

My TP-Link default IP is 192.168.0.254.

What's your model? And did you check your PC's IP and default gateway IP?

Also try pinging it from th command line.

Another possibility is your router requires secure login and you need to use

https://192.168.0.1, not http://192.168.0.1

Next, take the other suggestions in the thread.

192.168.0.1 is your gateway, and we can assume the router at this point.

1. Can you ping 192.168.0.1

2. Are you specifically using https://192.168.0.1 as the address in the browsers?

If all else fails, get a network cable and do the same steps over wired, instead of wireless.

You probably enabled Wi-Fi or internet sharing before?

Thanks guys... I went to a wired client - same problems. WTH!

I thought it was a stretch but I just rebooted router. .... ALL good now!!....

^^ I suggest checking the website for new firmware. Backup the current config and upgrade firmware
