Cannot see computer on home network.
I have a desktop running win 10 and a laptop running win 7.
Using Norton 360 on both machines. (freebie from /Comcast)
My home network has run well for years. Starting when the desktop was updated from win 7 to win 10 I would have minor problems when win 10 had a monthly update and I was able to fix those problems.
The problem I have now is when I look at my network using my laptop I can see the desktop only as a media device. This problem started with the win 10 anniversary update and monthly security update.
I checked the desktop and the drives, etc are set to be seen by others on the network
I’ve tried a few suggestions found on the Microsoft site and others and nothing restores being able to see the drives other then media drives.
Any idea what is rong and how to fix the problem?
