Canon fanboys check in please.

Well, we've got the AT Nissan Fan Club and some other crappy clubs, but nothing to celebrate the god of digicam makers that is Canon.

I figure if want to join, post:

1) The Canon digicam models you've owned
2) A link to any picture galleries you have online taken with the aforementioned cameras
3) A pledge to never leave the club, preferably in an ever more insane manner than the poster above you.

I'll start.

Part of me wishes I had kept the Canon Digital Rebel (considering I paid $699 for the KIT) but selling THEM for between $1200 - $1500 was NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE (thanks Lukas ).

That makes perfect sense. I probably would have done the same thing. For as much as I know about photography, the G5 is very adequate for my needs. The SLR camera learning curve would be much higher.

I may be a member in the near future. My dad recently asked for digicam recommendations and it looks like I'm going to steer him towards the A80. It's in his price range and seems to have a lot of versatility. I don't know if 3x optical zoom will be enough, though. :-/
