I found that Walmart has it at the same price plus can get free ship to a nearby store (one near me has stock), but you do have to pay sales tax. Just another option.
As usual the per page (or per 4x6 print) cost is always higher on low end printers and they use multi-ink cartridges. IDK if refilled carts are available (SwiftInk does carry refurbed 40 series carts at a little less than the Egg's price) or if the carts are refillable. There are regular and large size carts available. Canon has made bypassing their expensive, chipped carts a PITA lately. And it's iffy if you want to use it with other than Windwoes or MAC. Canon still acts as if Linux, etc. don't exist. For what it's worth, the owner reviews at newegg total 36 and none are below 4 eggs.

If you print a lot, I'd go for the iP4700 instead (best price for this was at Amazon - now the Egg) - ink costs much less at SwiftInk and others and uses separate tanks for less wastage.
