I was succesful in getting the PM to $239. They did not charge me shipping, I showed $0 shipping on the PM form. I also used a $50 coupon and got the free 128MB flash card.

Yep, they got the $24.95 shipping on me too, still $35.05 difference (they only do 100% PM since it is not an office store).

Yeah I guess the $35 PM is better than nothing. For what it's worth, I emailed that store I price matched against and they never replied.

The $35 will go towards NiMH batteries and charger.

Same here, only got a $35 Price Match, I put n/a for shipping but they still charged me. $215 for the cam + mem card is better than the alternative, so I'm done with this deal, although I wouldn't have minded that extra $25. Still, it is a little frustrating, but what can you do?

Total n00b question, but i never used Ebates before....how do you use it and the coupon at the same time? Both are click through links and not actual codes....

Probably a while unless they get a new shipment in, I think a few hundred ATers (including lurkers) have ordered the A40 so it may be a few days or weeks.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of a new coupon ... I'm tempted to get another A40 PM'ing it against that Yahoo store, if they don't charge me shipping then it will be around $190. Then I can either sell it here, eBay or return my original A40 to OM B&M.

DeafeningSilence - Good question and thanks for reminding me. It is a good plan but the salesperson misinformed me about the claim process when she sold it to me (I'm sure it helps meet her quoto and she gets commission from it). She said the 2 year $39.99 extended warranty covers EVERYTHING, I have since then heard differently. I asked how would I file a claim, she said just call a toll free number and they'll ship you a $299 OM debit card which you can use to buy anything ... I asked don't I have to bring in the broke digicam or shop it off for repairs? She said NO, so I said I'm sold give it to me. Later I find out you DO have to bring it in for service, if they can't repair it they'll give you a new A40. Since I bought it with my VISA Platinum I receive 1 year of extra warranty coverage so I went back to OM and demanded a refund for the service plan which I received. Also they still don't have the 128MB CF in stock yet. Since I bought 256MB CF from Amazon.com for $69 after $10 MIR and $20 off $99 Gold Box coupon with free shipping I'm thinking I don't really need that extra 128MB CF.

So the 2 year $39.99 extended warranty may be for some people but not for me.
