[Lost_in_the_HTTP]

Was in the midst of printing a page and it puked out a B200 Error. I've turned it off, unplugged it and let it set overnight a few times just in case .... Nope Same error on restart

If I leave the covers open, it seems to want to try to go through the motions, but never finishes before the error come back.

Got it from the Egg for $70 in Nov '16, so I don't know, is six years a good run?

Is it worth messing with? I rarely print, so it sits for weeks or months at a time.

Couple of sites I looked at suggest removing the print head for cleaning, but I don't see any way to do that. Figure those are just generic suggestions and not model specific.

Sounds to me like a paper jam error. Have you open and cleaned out it's orifices? Some printers have sensors on all of those areas, and won't clear the "jam" signal until you open + close all of the orifices.
Of course, if there is shreds of paper jammed, remove them.

Did all that, but I guess dust is possible. Might try some air.

After sitting all this time, I decided to give it a shot to see if I could get it to at least scan anything, regardless of whether it would print.

Pushed the button and began hitting the Scan button repeatedly hoping it would change modes instead of erroring out again. Nope, but it did boot up normally for some reason. Ran it through some tests and it will indeed scan to a PC. It will run the head cleaning and alignment tasks and run paper through fine, but it won't print. The check patterns will print, but all colors print very faint. Tried to copy something and it only printed a few characters, again very faint.

I'll let it sit for a while and try again. Maybe things got dried up over time and need to soak in ink. Who knows.
