Might be a misprint on the page linked by the OP, but that camera supposedly doesn't have a battery included, the Newegg one comes with a battery pack and charger.

Was $540 yesterday tho, now $690 which is tad better than average price.

Side note: Meritline allows local pickup where NE doesn't. So, someone who is shopping for this camera can buy it online and pick it up thereby saving on S&H.

I already have a Nikon D80, so I will pass, but at the original $540 price it was considered "hot deal". Now just so-so.

FYI, the $540 was a scammer. Dell is the way to go for now if you just want the body. Newegg if you want the kit lens and 2.5" hard drive.

Deals come and go on this model, I bought the black xti (400D) body only from B&H for $630 shipped about 4 months ago and got a much nicer lens seperate. At this point I wish I paid the $50 more for the body + kit lens only because when I want to sell it they tend to go easier with the kit lens. Ah well, still a great camera and works very well with the sigma 17-70

That's a bait and switch company. You order, they call to tell you it's out of stock and you can get this camera for "$x" for dollars. When you say no, it automatically goes on Backorder and they've had your money for however long and you have to fight to get it back.
