Found this over in the Off Topic area and did the math and it seems pretty hot. The rebate applies to a whole bunch of different stuff... Below is just what I did the math on.

Rebate

What I am looking at purchasing...

Canon EOS 20D: $1,379.99
Canon EF 28-135mm IS USM Lens: $419.99
Canon PIXMA iP6600D: $174.99
TOTAL COST: $1,974.97

Rebate on 20D: $300 ($100x3)
Rebate on lens: $45 ($15x3)
Rebate on printer: $75 ($25x3)
TOTAL REBATE: $420

Actual cost : $1,974.97-$420=$1,554.97 plus taxes/possible shipping

AND you get Costco's awesome 10-year no questions asked warranty.

I just purchased the 16-35mm f/2.8L USM, 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, and the 70-200mm f/4L USM. Rebate for those comes out to $360, but eh.. it costs a lot more than $1,554.97, and you still need a camera body.. Now, just waiting for a rebate on the Canon 5D or maybe even the Mark EOS-1D Mark II N.. wishful thinking

Anyway, I've used the 28-135mm lens for a while. It's definitely a good lens and serves its purpose well. Very decent lens for the price, but you might want to consider getting a wide angle lens along with it. 28mm isn't exactly wide, especially with the crop factor of the 20D and the XT (If you're planning to get the 350D instead). I'm not sure what's available at Costco, but my suggestion is to consider getting another lens instead of the printer. You can send your photos to Costco to print for 17 cents a picture; factor in the cost of printer + ink + paper, I'd personally rather just go to Costco and pickup the pictures as they're higher quality and printed on better paper. Although, you do give up the convenience of being able to just print the picture at your home. Just a suggestion.

That was another reason I was waiting. The 5D looks outstanding. Full frame CCD. Yum.

Question:
Can I purchase 3 items from different place?
Or 3 items have to be from same reseller to get triple rebates?

As per the website, it seems like you can purchase them from seperate retailers. In fact, you can purchase them at seperate times and it will combine the thing together. If you are really unsure, call the # listed on the link I provided above. They answer immediately and seem to be on the ball.

Thanks a lot!
FAQ
Q. Am I still eligible for double or triple savings if I purchase items on different days or at different dealers?

A. Yes, as long as you purchase the products in the eligible time period from an Authorized Canon Dealer(s) in the US or Puerto Rico. All customer information provided for the initial rebate must match customer information on subsequent submissions.

Combined rebates mailed in separate envelopes will be calculated when mailed in. The Web-Rebate pre-qualification screens do not account for prior submissions.

Thanks OP.

Looks like ~1500 for me after taxes.

20d @ dell.com - 1440 (no tax to AR)
28-135 @ costco - 420
Printer - 175
Tax on 2 - 36

less rebates 420
less printer on ebay 150
---------------------------------
$1501

Trying to convince my self to sell my 300D Rebel and bite on this.

wait around and hopefully that 25% off canon 20d KIT coupon can be used. also with the dellf coupon for $100 off $1499, it will bring it down to $1100 before rebate. triple should bring the 20d body down to $800 + tax.

I've got the 28-135 IS - in my opinion it's among the best lenses for the money available. A poster above was right pointing out that it's not the widest lens out there, and it's more apparent on a DSLR, but it's still among the best all purpose lenses available for mobile shooting.

I'd be all over this if I didn't have a 300D already... I'll wait until the next round of cameras to upgrade, I think... maybe the 400D (or whatever the next rebel is) will be full frame *wish*.
