Cant access hidden files

Hey guys i have some folders that are hidden.

Anyways i go to "toos" > "folder options" > "view" > "show hidden files and folders"

and they dont come up!

Any ideas??

What folder are you trying to access?

pretty much everything. lot of ppl use this pc and dont want them lookin at my pictures

Hidden files aren't gonig to help much to keep others from viewing your files. Anybody with Local Administrator rights can "view hidden files" and will be able to see them, along with your private folders. Except for you, of course.

After you find your files, you need to establish password-based accounts and make sure that other Users aern't Local Administrators on the PC. Or use some sort of encryption on your files.

Did ya click "apply to all folders" button at the top when you were done?

Im not worried about all that i just dont want my family see pics of my friends and I completely drunk off our asses.

So is there a way I can retreive these files?

Were the pics put on the pc under a different user other than the one youre logged on with now?

There's only one login that is used. PC has been on for like a week straight. Nothing has been changed

But now have any ideas on how i can get them to show up normally while keeping them as hidden files??

I just changed them to not hidden for now.

Im heading out now though so wont be able to respond.

Im lost, you want them hidden, but want them to show up normally?
If youre all using the same login, you only have one choice or the other.

I'll venture to guess that the folders are not lost but have been deleted by another member of your family. I suspect drnk pictures are not bad enough to have to be kept hidden.
