I've bought a GigaByte 7N400 Pro2 about 2 weeks ago.
It's a very good motherboard, exept for one thing: I just can't adjust the multiplier!
I've put the CLK_SW to auto and all dipswitches are also set to auto, so it'll chose the correct CPU speed. Perfect idea, never problems with you CPU... until you'd like to OC it.
I've already been playing with the dipswitches, and tried setting it to 13.5 with a 166 MHz FSB (2250 MHz, XP2800+), but than it puts the multiplier to 5.5 instead of 13.5?! (the speed was 5.5 x 166 = 913 MHz)
I've read on multiple sites I should be able to adjust the MP in the BIOS, but I can't.
I've tried CTRL + F1 in the BIOS, which enables some features (mem timing), but still no adjustable MP.
EasyTune 4 also doesn't let me adjust the MP. I can adjust the FSB and voltages from it, but not the MP!
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? It's a XP2400 T-bred with the B0 stepping, so it's unlocked by the factory. At least, I could adjust the MP on my ASUS A7N8X Deluxe I had before this motherboard...
I've OC'ed it to a XP2800+ now, but with the default MP my CPU had (15), and a 150 MHz FSB...
I'd realy like to have it running at 13.5 x 166...
