a8n-sli (nb47j, i'll explain)
2x1gb mushkin
evga 7800gt
ok. i put everything together with all loud parts except the 7700alcu. installed windows and everything was fine. then i put on a vf700cu and a nb47j to make it quiet. my case is a MESS with cables, but somehow i found a little spot to use my zalman bracket with an 80mm fan. so i turned it on and changed a few settings so that the computer knew i didn't have a chipset fan. i checked temps and played a few games. most of the leftover noise was the 80mm fan so i decided to take it out... now i CAN'T EVEN GET INTO WINDOWS from changing a stupid fan!!!! oh yea, it forgot every single bios setting i made, but all i did was change a fan. i ran memtest86+ from a floppy, but now it doesn't want to boot from a floppy. i put it on a cd and ran it, but no errors. without the 80mm fan, the hs does get very hot to the touch but nothing that should make the computer go into a REBOOT CYCLE. it gets as far as the windows loading bars, then it flickers a blue screen so that it PURPOSELY can't even tell me what's wrong.
could i have static shocked the i/o controller or something? i have no idea what could be wrong...
i'm using bios 1012.
PLEASE HELP!
