Its probably your hard drive....then again it could be the IDE controllers on the mobo. Unplug any other IDE devices and just have attached your hard drive. If it does the same, change the drive to the secondary channel and see if it says the same. If both say the same, just to make sure.....plug up your CD drive to one of them and put in a bootable CDROM such as Windows XP or Windows2000 and see if it will try to boot from the cd.
