Can't boot

Guys, if anyone has seen anything like this please let me know.
Yesterday I updated BIOS to version 16.
Now I can't get into BIOS. Posts fine but when i hit delete I get black screen with a cursor blinking in a top left corner.

During post I get 2 different error messages:
1. CPU is unworkable-check soft menu.
2. CMOS checksum error - loading defaults.

After either message result is the same: black screen with blinking cursor. I cleared CMOS several times to no avail.

Clear Cmos, then try and reflash.
I guess 16 just came out as when I went to update it 3 days ago, 15 was the latest.

Since you can boot to Windows, try to reflash it in Windows. Or go back to an earlier version.

I can't boot to windows.

Unplug it for a little bit, then reboot and HOLD THE INSERT KEY down as it boots, then see what happens.
I flashed in windows, (overclocked @ 3.6GHz at the time, didn't clear Cmos and I am having NO issues with the new bios. Running nice for me.

you could always try hot flashing.
