Can't Connect to shared drives or printer....

Background:
I have a Windows 2003 server that has shared printer/drivers that has a 192.168.2.# IP Static IP. The Win3k server is hooked up to Netgear FMS726S 24 port Layer 2 switch. 3 other WinXP Prof systems are hooked up and can connect thru the switch as well. All of these systems are obtaining an 192.168.2.# IP via DHCP from a Netgear FR114P Firewall Router that is connected to the switch. I also have a Linksys WRT54G hooked up to the switch with a static IP from the Netgear firewall. The WRT is mainly for a Laptop's wireless functionality. The laptop has a 192.168.3.# IP obtained thru DHCP.

The Problem:
All systems that have a 192.168.2.# IP can connect to the drives, but any system (wired or wireless) that I connect thru the WRT w/ a 192.168.3.# IP can not connect to the Shared drives or Printer of the Win3k Server w/ a static 192.168.2.# IP address.

I'm sure this is simple....I've also searched thru archives w/ no avail.

Look at your subnet masks with ipconfig. If they are 255.255.255.0 (which they probably are, as this is the default), then you have two different networks set up and they can't talk to each other.

Either use your router to interconnect the two networks or give all your systems a 192.168.2.# address. Use the ping command to test connectivity between all the machines.

Disable the DHCP server on the linksys device and don't use the WAN port.
