Can't find xp recovery cd

I can't find my xp cd for my laptop but the product key's stamped on the bottom, is there anywhere I can download an ISO from on Microsoft's site at all?

Bit screwed as some updates have made my sp2 install really unstable, microsoft update reports that everything is already up to date... :|

I really don't think microsoft would allow that to be downloaded, if you have your own key does a friend have a cd you can just install from and then use your own key with?

I'm not asking to break the law here, I have a professional license with my thinkpad and 2 seperate licenses 1 xp home and one prof that I bought for my old desktop pc's, just can't find the cd wallet that I kept all my important software in, including my ibm recovery disks or any of my windows / office cd's.

Someone told me you can download windows ISO's from MSDN, is that correct and if so would the ISO I could get work with my own license keys?

I'm rather against the idea of downloading a torrent for the sake that my computer is for work, some of which being sensitive and I can't really trust that what I'm downloading is completely secure.

This might sound paranoid but it's crucial that I can verify the source of the software I use for my work for auditing purposes.
