Can't get Belking keybaords extra keys to work.

I wonder if anybody could help me ?
I have a Belkin F8E830-KBD keyboard part of the F8E829-BNLD keyboard/mouse bundle. I have installed the software that came on the CD in the hope of getting the extra media key's to work, but they don't. I have tried this keyboard on both XP and Vista and it fails to work in both. I have then tried on a Mac OSX machine and the keys work. I email Belkin a few weeks ago and have just got a reply which just made me laugh.

Here it is this is what I sent them.

I plugged this keyboard/Mouse bundle in then installed the software thats was on the CD ( I have even downloaded and tried the software from this site). I then reset when it asked me to and when windows was loaded I found that the extra buttons (home/favorites,email,search,my documents,my computer,desktop,calandar, f lock) do NOT work. The Little icon does appear in my task bar. I have tried changing the the actions of the buttons but they don't seem to reed in WindowsXP SP3. I have no other keyboard mouse driver running as I had a very plain keyboard previosly. I have since tried this on windows vista and it still didn't work, and a Mac OSX and it worked on the Mac. Please Help.

To resolve the issue,please follow the below instruction

Please do check with the diff computer.

I have now since installed XP X64 SP2 and the keyboard is still the same. Does anybody have any Idea how to get this to work?

A: I won't buy anything that I need to depend on that has the Belkin name on it. Their whole business plan and focus almost precludes their offering products that are truly competitive quality-wise with name-brand stuff at any given price point. Their focus is on improving the bottom line for big box stores - this means cheap, generic products at jewelry store markups. You know who the names are in the keybd/mse market (if you don't, just ask) - buy one of those and you'll be much happier though perhaps a bit lighter in the wallet. Unfortunately, some big names have gone to the same ruse. A lot of Kensington stuff is actually rebadged third or fourth tier stuff (lots is A4Tech) too, so you have to look around to be sure what you're getting for your money. Good, solid drivers are often hard to get from the top brands - just imagine what you're getting from the rest...
. My pointing device of choice has been Logitech Marble trackballs for years, and I use a Cherry compact keyboard that has NO extra features. No problems with any. The A4Tech stuff I've had under the Kensington and A4tech brands has uniformly been junk though the drivers did work - the hardware was sub-par.

The trouble I'm having at the moment is that I want a white/LIGHT grey wireless keyboard in the UK. Now most are black and I don't like that. I have had this A4Tech wireless keyboard for about 5 years and it's only stopped working becuase a cup of coffee took a liking to it, I have tried tacking it apart and cleaning it but the coffe must have fried the small amount of electrics as NO keys work anymore .

This is my first and LAST experience with belkin.
