I was trying to switch out my motherboard today to an Asus A8N deluxe. I tried to do it without re-formating and wound up getting into some problems with the onboard marvel LAN. I was installing the drivers for that and the system crashed on me. Long story short, now I can't get into my BIOS setup screen. Whenever I try it just shows me a blank screen. But it will load windows, albeit very, very slowly.
So far I've tried to clear the CMOS (twice). The second time I cleared it, I left everything unplugged, for ~30 minutes. Tried booting up with just the video card, one stick of ram and a hard drive and that didn't work either. I'm pretty sure the RAM is still good, I pulled that from a spare computer just yesterday. Is this board dead?
my specs: x2 4800
seasonic s12 600
kingston value ram
