Can't get the Internet Connetion Share to work.

Well, I just got my new computer setup and only thing left is the home network.
I bought ASUS A8V Deluxe 2.0 and included was ASUS Wi/Fi card and antenna.
When I first set it up it was picking up nearby AP and I was connected to internet right away..ok..
Now, I need to set it up as Soft AP to have my laptop connect to internet through main pc and share files too.

However, when I follow the instruction book in setting up as Soft AP(access point) everything's fine until it goes to ICSS. It won't allow internet connection share to work. It keeps saying failed.

When I try to enable ICS through XP it fails also saying 'dependency service or group failed to start'.
So, I go in to 'Service' and try to start everything manually, but some like 'Remote Access Connection Manager' won't start saying 'Access is denied'.

I tried just about everything I could think of and nothing works.

If you had similar problem please shed some light.

I'm sure somebody must have used ASUS wifi?

sounds like you have a router. Why do you want to share internet connection on your PC?

I have not used ASUS wifi yet. I suspect you are logging into the correct SSID and have the correct WEP setting.

I can't enable Internet connection sharing from XP. I think this is absolutly needed to share internet with my laptop and share files. I've seen article from Microsoft, but their suggestion didn't change a thing.
I tried from both XP and ASUS wifi controller and neither worked. It was pointing to service not being able to start. So I went to the Services, but the problem is I cannot start certain necessary services. I get "Access Denied" and there's no resolution for this.

I guess only the person that used ASUS wifi would know I think. I'm also thinking maybe I should reinstall the XP.
