Can't identify my ATI Radeon...

The box says Radeon VE but none of the pictures on the ATI site match up with my card or the box. My box has a rebot in the front...the bios says 113-07112-101 and at first the driver CD that came with it installed it as just a Radeon, but after having to reinstall drivers, it now installs it as Radeon SDR...i emailed ATI but they just took it as a driver request... i got it at Newegg.com a half a year ago...i guess its another company that made the card, but i want to update the drivers... can anyone help me?

i can already get all that info from device manager->properties
but i just can't find the right drivers, i got the reference ones from ATI but it says that my adapter doesn't match any of the drivers but it should match one of them... this sucks... any help appretiated...

I had the same problem with a 32MB SDR Radeon VE in a client's machine. The stupid ATI driver install says the card doesn't match any of the drivers when you know damn well that it does.

Here's the trick - the ATI installer extracts all the driver files to C:\ATI\... Go to Device Manager, select the display adapter, and choose update drivers. Then go through the procedure for driver installation to force the install of a particular driver, point Device Manager to the folder where the drivers were extracted, and pick Radeon VE from the list you get. I can't remember the exact sequence for Win98, it's been a while since I've used that OS, but it works with XP.
