Can't install SATA/RAID Drivers

So I just got my Core 2 Duo system setup last night and when I go to install windows, I press F6 so that I can install the Gigabyte SATA/RAID drivers. When I get to the install screen I get the "Please insert the disk labeled. Manufacturer-supplied hardware support disk. into Drive A:" prompt. I insert the disc that I made (with the SATA/RAID drivers on it) and it goes for a while but then the same prompt comes back up. I keep pressing enter and the same prompt shows up and I can't continue on with installing the drivers. When I cancel the installation, the drive (a WD 250GB SATAII drive) shows up in windows but setup can't read any of the partitions.

I'm using a USB floppy drive and the system is the one in my sig.

Anyone have any ideas of what could be going on here?

First things that occur to me are:
1. Make sure USB support is turned on (in Bios) at the bios level and not at the OS level. Some bios' have this option. If not sure, borrow a floppy and cable from a buddy and remove it as a variable. (BTW, can you boot to your external usb drive and then see the cdrom?.) If not you're gonna have to resolve this before the install can use the floppy. You might be able to put the sata drivers onto a cd.
2. If the floppy can be correctly seen, check to make sure your sata drivers are in the root of the floppy

Connect to one of the orange headers and you won't need drivers at all.
