Can't open in new window

I am running W2K and this just started happening. For a few weeks now, every once in a while, I would be on the net trying to click on a link, and would right click and choose "open in new window" and it wouldn't do it. I could restart my computer and it would work fine for several days, then do it again. Tonight it started doing it and restarting is not fixing it. I have cleaned all internet files, checked for viruses, but I can't get it to "open in new window" at all.

Also, if I left click on a link that would normaly open a new window, it won't open at all. Left click won't open it or right click and "open in new window" won't open it, so I can't open those links at all.

Also something else that is happing at the same time is the right click "copy and paste" functions do not work. Any ideas??

Same thing happened to me today. Read the sticky at the top of the page about RPC worm. You're welcome

THANK YOU!!! I did have it! I removed it and all seems O.K. now!! I had heard of the worm, but I thought it would only make the computer restart. Mine was not restarting, or crashing, so I didn't think to look for the worm. Anyway, THANKS again!!
