yea lots of programs have this problem, best way to avoid it is to only install stuff you know you want to keep, and try new programs on a test comp, but of course, not all people have this option
t-bird...would you mind explaining your explanation a little better? I'd love to get rid of my programs from the add/remove list, but most of them won't go, and I couldn't keep up with your explanation.
that is where the list for add & remove programs is listed in the registry
what i meant was expand that key to reveal all the listed programs for add & remove
then find the program name you no longer want & delete the key
but as Zipperhead said tweakui does the same thing
