can't suspend with Win98SE ICS installed?

i can't suspend my win98se computer that is sharing the internet via MS ICS, i get a message that tells me some program or hardware driver doesn't allow me to suspend try closing all programs, i've uninstalled ICS and suspend worked again, what could i do?

any way to allow suspend mode with out having to uninstall ICS?

any help appreciated.

did you have the suspend feature running before? Is this an ATX system or a laptop?

I know that Win98SE could not suspend on my old 200mmx system because the mobo wasn't ATX. In fact Win98 first edition worked better.

as i wrote on the first post it worked well until i installed ICS

This depends on your hardware. My friend's compaq can suspend and still have ICS running in windows 2000 pro. However, it appears your hardware does not support this. If you think about it, it makes sense. If the computer that has ICS on it suspends, then the rest of the computers on your network are cut off from the internet. Maybe the ICS version in win2k is different.
