Can't think of this movie.. need help

I can't remember much of it but it was kind of a horror type film where the house came alive.

Like it would try to kill you by blowing up the tv or closing the garage door and trapping you in with the car running.

I seem to remember a younger kid it was trying to kill?

Did it end with a scene where they're in the swimming pool or something, but the swimming pool is full of zombies or skeletons or something trying to drag people to the bottom, but they manage to get out and it ends with them driving away to the safety of a grimy motel or something? Cuz if so I want to know too.

Don't remember a garage trapping anyone in House, and the little kid was barely in it.
I don't remember anything about a garage in Poltergeist #1, or a TV blowing up.
I don't remember anything about #2.
It wouldn't be Poltergeist #3 IIRC, that took place in a mall.

That's what threw me off, but in Poltergiest, as they are leaving the electricty in the garage does try to keep them from leaving.

But there are other movies with similar scenes.

Yeah its not Poltergeist.. and my memory is pretty shit.. The kid was maybe 5-10? Male.. I think the garage motor malfunctioned and caused a bunch of smoke almost killing whoever was trapped.. I think the father rescued him? Also remember them showing the electricity path and going into the tv and all the circuit boards like it was some kind of spirit possessing it.

In Shocker, the kid is a senior in high school, IIRC. I think there may be parts of the beginning when he was younger, but I don't think the villain becomes electrically infused until the kid is older. Been a while since I've watched this one.

I am still leaning towards Pulse, but it's been a long time since I've seen this, either, so I am not sure about the garage -- but the kid is young throughout the whole movie.
