Ok, here is the situation... I want to completely uninstall office 97. So what I do is this, I go to control panel, add/remove programs, and then highlight office 97 and click the add/remove button. It asks for the cd, which I put in and then it commences with an install, it doesn't even give me the option to uninstall like it should. One time I went ahead with the install and it ended up giving me a bunch of errors and then at the end said that the installation was not completed successfully, but this was after already not having the option to uninstall. It's nuts. Can anyone lend a hand and help me out with this problem?
I downloaded a utility from microsoft called office 97 eraser which helps out with the deletion of registry keys and unused crap after the regular uninstall has already taken place. I can't use this until I uninstall office the way it should be done. Please help me.
