Trump's lack of empathy and compassion for people, especially for those he feels are beneath him, is exponentially exacerbated by the fact that he is the leader of our nation. He has shown us time after time that he is morally and ethically bankrupt. He has shown us that he is a pathological liar and a chronic cheat honed by an utter lack of true entrepreneurial expertise.

All of these debilitating characteristics that makes Trump who and what he is has led him to see people as impersonal objects to be used, abused and entertained by and ultimately tossed aside and/or stomped on when they become useless to him or hurtful to him in one way or another.

Puerto Rico just happens to be of no value to Trump and worse still, a liability and reminder of his failure as a businessman and leader of their people. His behavior toward the people of Puerto Rico is shameful and embarrassing given his penchant for being a racist and a bully towards those he feels are an obstacle toward his best interests.
