Hello everyone,
Gosh but I have been living with this for some time now, but I am pretty sure something must be wrong...and I'd like to try and fix it. I have a Telus DSL provider coming into my home and routing through a DLINK DI 624 Xtreme G2.04Ghz wireless router to my pretty fine computer. The PC that I use is a direct cable from the router to the PC not wireless. My provider states that I should be good for 3.4 MB/sec...and I can only ever reach 160k/sec. If I download a single file that is what I get, if it's multiple files at one time they will always add up to 160k...if I find a download that is faster it quickly sets itself to 160k.
I must have it capped somewhere...but I do not have a clue where to look. I have looked at my Router settings and nowhere does it talk about download performance. I cannot find anything in my network settings...Does anyone have any thoughts on this????
Thanks
Niall
