Captcha error?

I get this several times a day from different networks, none of which are sketchy or are from a VPN, both are from major ISPs and the IP addresses are fixed. This is growing tiresome.

Are you logging in automatically or manually? I have run into that where if I log in using my password manager, it triggers Captcha, but if I type in manually it does not.

Can someone please address this? I keep getting this error from my home network with a static IP from a reputable ISP that has not changed. This is obviously flagging too strongly and it's getting irritating.

Nothing will be done about CAPTCHA!! Why? Because the owners of ATOT I believe somehow actually make money off of Captcha!! I also believ I posted the same thing on this very thread and somehow my post was deleted....I could be wrong!!

Same here, any movement at all and I'm redirected to it, if you don't wait a few seconds it will keep redirecting then asks you to verify photo's endlessly. This crap has to end or these forums won't be worth the trouble.

It's abated for now, hopefully it stays that way. Examining 3 sets of photo's just to load anything is not fun.

It's happening again today. It's astonishing to me that no one knows how to correct this. Perhaps an employee could go into the software area and ask a member how to correct the problem?

I was going to log out & back in last night but kept getting CAPTCHA'ed with every click here. At some point later it turned into a black hole i couldn't get out of. ShieldSquare wouldn't let me leave. Maybe they should call it Hotel California instead. Or Roach Motel.

How ShieldSquare Works
Looks like each ShieldSquare customer can choose how to handle a bot detection, CAPTCHA being one of the options.
I thought this was funny:
"Battle-tested for zero false positives"

Maybe eventually we'll win the war.

I have the same IP as yesterday, if that matters. Unplugged my modem last night, thought it might change this morning.

I perused both threads on this & nothing official from anyone since May. Looks like maybe it started when Purch was in charge but has obviously gotten worse.

Yea, I was in that "hell-hole" yesterday, your asked to do photo check-box crap 4-5X in a row, ugh. Thankfully it's stopped for now. I didn't do anything but I did send a PM to the system Admin., maybe he/she changed something.

What in the serious *F* is going on? I'm getting captchas with every damned page opening, refresh, etc., etc. Had to do a captcha to create this thread. What the hell?
