Car Dealership Shuttles

I own a Mercedes c300 and I am dropping it off for its first service tomorrow morning

Since they are all out of loaner cars, they are offering me a shuttle ride to/from work while they work on my car.

Question: am i supposed to tip the guy that brings me to and from work?

I always use the shuttle for my Maxima. A lot of times there are other ppl in the van and they are dropped off b4 me, i never seen anyone tipping the drvr, neither did i ever tip

When in doubt, don't tip. Pretty universal rule for tipping.

bmw shuttle twice, never tipped. I got into a friendly conversation with him and he said he loves when he has to go on runs. Says sometimes it takes him an hour in traffic and he doesn't mind.

I heard Merc actually has people who come to you to drop off a loaner and pick your car up... is that true? If it's the same guy coming back doing personal service like that I'd tip. Mom's '10 C300 is being built as we speak and should get it next month. Go go South Africans.

If you got the loaner, who would you tip? Nobody. So now you didn't get the loaner, AND you want to part with money as well? It's not about gratitude, the guy is doing his job. It's not like he's some random dude with a car.
