if i purchase a car insurance policy for 6 months, paid in full, then after 2 months i decide to terminate, do i get a pro-rated refund for the 4 months i'm not insured under them?
Generally no, you would get a short-rate (ie, the insurer keeps more of your premium) refund. Usually cancellations for non-payment are prorated, though. Read your policy.
