Car Navigation Systems - Hacks

Just got a new Lincoln Aviator and am curious if anyone knows how to hack any of the features on it. I have heard it can be done. Perhaps there is an owners forum specific to this car.

Ok, thanks for another pointless responses. Who said the person driving would be the one programming it? As far as why I would want to do that... I am the kind of person who likes to tweak witht things when I get them (ex: Tivo). So I asked a simple question seeing if anyone was faimilar with hacks on the system. Phucas and Dkozloski obviously are not, so I don't know why they even waste there time by responding.

My response is not pointless. It is strictly in the interest of self preservation. The manufacturer incorporated safety features to try to protect the buyer and the rest of the citizens using the highways. You wish to defeat them. I am trying to discourage you. What happens when someone else driving the car decides it's OK for them to fiddle with it? You can do whatever you like to risk your own life but you don't have the right to risk mine. I also like to try to see if I can outsmart the system including devising and building my own pirate cable TV decoder that worked. But I never risked anyone elses well being.

Someone hasn't gotten any in a while... I personally find it hard to read a map while driving, so I don't know how you really expect someone to program a computer. Though, if this is what he is trying to do, then, that's just stupid.. On the other hand, you're making mindless assumptions. Did I spell that right? Who cares, bed time.
