Car Screens

I want to add rear entertainment to the car in the back for the kids but I want the interface and connection to be supplied from an idevice and not DVD. I have all my media ready to go I just need the screens and cabling. I have seen and want something like www.amazon.com/Philips-37-Videoviewe.../dp/B007FZN53W but it has been discontinued.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to accomplish this?

People are selling that used, so why not just get that?

While they look good, the fact that phillips seems to have totally disowned them Im ok with spending more for a better solution if its out there.

From what I am seeing, it looks like the TwinPlay only supports the older 30 pin dock connector. I am guessing their decision to discontinue the product had to do with the engineering (and the expense related to it) involved with the lightning connector.

You could take a look at the Kivic One although it is rather pricey.

A few google searches make it look like the Philips is the way to go based on price and what you get. Since the iPad already has a screen that most older kids can hold + most mini vans come with DVD players, this is a very niche market. I'd say they don't sell many, thus the low price... It looks cool though. My wife is all about Apple products (she has an iPhone4 and a Mini, so I may throw her that link)
