I have a 2004 Toyota Sienna and I changed the spark plugs and while I had the manifold off I sprayed carburetor cleaner in the intake while the engine was off. Stupid I now know! Can I start the engine or should I do something else before or did I just totally screw myself. Help

Nah it should be ok if you did not spray to much in it...? Also if you did spray a ton in there just pull the plugs and spin the engine over several times to clear it out... But it is not needed to spray carb cleaner in a fuel injected engine...

Wait you had the the manifold off...? The intake why...?

Think you meant the breather housing...?

On the Sienna you have to pull the top to get to the back three spark plugs. Bad design but yes I had to.

Maybe pull the fuse to the spark plugs and spin it a few times to blow out any loose gunk? I don't think it's going to hurt anything

Fuse...? Their are no fuses on the spark plugs...? Like I said just pull the spark plugs and spin it over a few times then replace them and fire it up...

Realistically one "should" disable the ignition system to prevent any chance of the "possibility" of igniting the carb cleaner. I have seen it happen to others in the shop I worked in. In one case a wood boat was destroyed.

It's fine. Just put it back together / move on with life.

Just start the car with clear flood mode, ie. WOT when starting and let go of the throttle after engine started.
