Really? Say he's one of those guys that keeps gpus for 3+ years. Don't you think it would be wise to consider the fact AMD will likely not be around to replace his card?

Im sure these partners will be more than willing to replace your card even though their source of revenue is cut off and you will not spend a single penny with them again. I mean look at how helpful they are today.
Has anyone had experience with an AIB who changes manufacturers? For example, XFX used to make Nvidia cards, now they went with AMD. What would happen if someone with a lifetime warranty product attempted to file a claim?
It could be the lifetime of the product line in which case this doesn't matter since all the Nvidia cards they used to make have been EOL for a whole.
