Carnival Cruise ship nightmare!

The cruise ship Triumph is having to be towed back to port due to an engine fire which apparently messed up a bunch of other things.

I saw this video on the news this morning where they interviewed the son of some lady who is on the ship. His poor mom is having to wait 3 hours to get her food, and when she gets it the burger is cold! A nightmare! It sucks for all of those aboard, carnival better be doling out plenty of refunds and free cruises, but other than that is it really a nightmare? I think we as a society really have lost sight of what pain and hardship is. Accidents happen, things suck sometimes, the power goes out, your burger might be cold, but other than that your still alive. Your not hurt. Calm down and get over it a bit.

The prick kid focused on the burgers so I reiterated him. The toilets quit working, that sucks but for 2 days? It sucks, I'm not saying it doesn't suck, but at the end of the day you live. I guess it rubbed me wrong that humans have become so pvssified.

Carnival has some great cruise packages. I did the 7 day cruise from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and it was awesome!

One thing I didn't like was that this particular cruise had too many adults on it and not enough kids and teenagers. I was 13 at the time and they'd just opened up the nightclub for teens that was down the hall from the adult nightclub.

We had so much fun with our little Dacquris!

A non working toilet is one thing, but having raw sewage seeping down the walls of cabins, sewage and urine soaked carpets inside the ship where there is no air conditioning etc doesn't sound like fun.

I'll bet that the passengers on that ship will get a whole lot more than just vouchers for a free future cruise or something....

No running water or power. Heard folks don't want to do their business in their cabins so they're going in the hallways. I guess they don't remember what a poop deck is for.

Anyway this people has to sleep outside because there is no A/C, and there is poop flowing around in the cabins.
Also remember that this people aren't getting their vacation back, even if they get fully refunded. That sucks.
What is acceptable and what is not is relative to the society you live in. This situation sucks majorly for everyone involved.
