I don't get the posts about the Ford Contour. It's just a FWD car with decent handling. You can get the modern equivalent... the Fusion.

The Contour looks better than the Fusion, and is a smaller vehicle so not quite equivalent. It also had lower weight (comparing base models).

I wouldn't mind seeing my old Honda Prelude SH again. That was a fun car. It needed more HP though.

I think that I can agree with just about every car on here. I saw the RX-7 pop up a few times, so you may be interested to know that they may be bringing it back. I read an article sometime last year (I can't recall where) that talked about how Mazda wanted to better capture the spirit of the RX-7 in the successor to the RX-8, and part of that would include picking up the old name. They weren't talking about FI at the time, just working on getting power and (especially) fuel economy up in the NA engine.

Also, the FT-86 is, in no way, supposed to pick up where the Supra left off. It's supposed to be a spiritual successor to the AE86.

And yes, the Ford Contour was pretty great. I had a 98 with the V6 as my first car. The little thing was a lot quicker than you would have ever thought, handled well, and (in my experience) fairly reliable.

The Fiero would rock, if they could shoehorn the Camaro V6 into it. 300HP in that rollerskate....yeah!! :awe:

I think it sucks that GM killed off both the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky (especially the Saturn, as I think the overall look was much better than it's cousin, the Solstice). Seriously, GM.....make them affordable, and put them back out as a Chevy already!

Maybe to you, but to me it's a typical blobby frumpy 90s sedan. Oh how I hate those days of timid whitebread styling. The Fusion has nice crisp modern lines.

The wheelbase is only 1" longer, length 5" more, 3" wider

We had one years ago, FWD though. Great little car.

I knew a dude that had one roll over 300K miles. Went through a quart of oil every 1000 miles, but still ran like a champ. Last I knew he was still driving it.
