I would have to agree with Jules on the 458, also I saw a GT-R yesterday and I would love having that car as well.

For a daily driver, I would love a CLS550/CLS63 or a CL600/CL65.

For a family car, probably a Audi wagon of some sort.

For a track car, Ariel Atom V8 or something of the sort would be nice

If I was filthy rich, I wouldn't need a supercar, just something nice like this:

then I'd drive it to the airport and fly my real dream ride, one of these:

chrysler turbine car.

also; why jay leno should be allowed to host top gear with tanner foust after bludgeoning those other two to death with old steam engine parts.

btw, those things are just exhaust, there is no thrust. but i guess it would scare the fuck out of the average commuter when coupled with the sound.

Ariel Atom, 500 would be awesome, but I'm pretty sure any trim would blow me away...

Why have a half ass race car if you're filthy rich?
This would make you shit your pants and you'd love every moment of it.

I'd probably be too busy posting in ATG about the cars I can buy, but actually haven't yet. :hmm:

1963 Corvette split window coupe. 25+ years ago, I saw one for sale in the SF Bay area, for $12K. I should have sold my soul to the devil to buy that car, but didn't.

1955 T-bird. That was the car my Dad was driving when he met my Mom, and they were married shortly thereafter. They decided to do a driving honeymoon, and swapped cars with my uncle (my Dad's younger brother), which had more room. During the time my folks were on their honeymoon, and my Uncle Ken was driving the T-bird, he met his future wife.

And women say it's not the car! :hmm:

If I was filthy rich eh? Easy. Deusenberg J. Probably the classiest car ever made, and easily the most gorgeous thing on wheels.

DeTomaso Pantera. Modded out to rob souls.

OG Lancia Stratos. I liked it before it was cool to think of a remake. Thanks Herbie.

Ford GT.

1970 Chevrolet Camaro. De-chromed with a restomod look. These cars had clean lines.

Classic Continental or El Dorado.

A Chevelle SS 454 with a 4 speed (or perhaps revised with a newer equally or more powerful combo).
A 90s model Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a manual transmission. 350 motor, again, maybe something more powerful.
Grand National. Pristine condition.
Twin turbo Supra.
Viper

Then add all the super cars and stuff in there.

I already have the ones that are really important to me. I have never really had any desire for super cars. Most are very cool but they have just never really done anything for me. Old American iron of all flavors, now that is a different story.

Everyday: Aston Martin DBS

Weekend: Porsche 918 Spyder

Sunny days: Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder

Rainy days: Nissan GT-R

When I have company over: Maserati Quattroporte

To bring to track days: Ferrari F430 Scuderia

I think that covers everything

Not too interested in the european cars. Sure they are nice but really all I want is a big motor.

How are the 2+2's ugly?!

They are not. You have to forgive him, he has some issues. On another note the E-Type is still a British car so other than looks it sucks from a reliability standpoint. I helped a guy restore one. It is apparent the cars were hand built. The frame up front is made of 1" tubing that is brazed together. I would not want to be in an accident in one of those.

There's an old joke that goes "Why do the Brits drink their beer warm?....Because Lucas makes their refrigerators". Lucas also made the electrical systems in Jags....and they were pure junk.

There are a lot of British cars I like from a styling standpoint I just would never own one due to reliability issues and extremely expensive parts.
