Hi Guys.!!

I am looking for a new case as I am planning to upgrade my current configuration containing Sapphire 6850 to a crossfire of 6850 and 6870.

Currently I am using Cooler Master Elite 430 Black - http://www.coolermaster.com/produc [...] ct_id=6654
It contains 4 fans :
1. 1 Front Intake
2. 1 Side Intake
3. 1 Top Exhaust
4. 1 Rear Exhaust.

But with 6850 standing in between looks like the Great Wall of China.. I have Corsair TX750W as the PSU which means thick wires and there is no cable management.

I have the following in my mind :

1. Mid- Tower : Cooler Master 690 II Advanced : http://www.coolermaster.com/produc [...] ct_id=6638
2. Mid- Tower : Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced : http://www.coolermaster.com/produc [...] ct_id=6679
3. Full- Tower : NZXT Phantom - Black : http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/c [...] es/phantom

I also want some good cable management so that the cabinet is properly cooled. I dont overclock..

Can somebody please guide me what should I go with...

Also if someone could help me with a good UPS giving some 15-20 mins of back up even after crossfire.. Since my present Luminous 600VA UPS is no longer supporting me..

My current config is :
AMD Phenom II 955 BE,
GSkill 4GB DDR3,
MSI 890FXA-GD70,
AMD Sapphire 6850,
500GB WDC Caviar Black,
500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11,
Corsair TX 750W.

I just rebuilt my pc with the 690 and it was a joy to work with. Cable management is a piece of cake with it, just stuff every wire behind the motherboard tray and just pull out the ends where you need them, much easier than the Antec Solo it replaced. Be forewarned though it's a big case, a few inches taller than the Antec.

Thanks Buddy.. I just wanted to know if its good with crossfire?? Also the thick wires of Corsair TX750W would be able to criss cross the other side of the case??

Case option from my thread in this section: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&SID=u00000687

Has good space and lots of fan slots (comes with 3x 140mm)

I appreciate your advise sir, but I have limited options in India.. Cooler Master is a brand that is easily available.. NZXT Phantom will have to be ordered from a different part of the country and would be 2k expensive then the others.. This is the reason, even after reading reviews about these three I am not able to make a conclusion..!

Can't really help you on crossfire, I will say that in my config there is plenty of room for a second card. Given the size of the case I can't imagine that there would be any problems with a crossfire config.

On the wire, if you can get it to the back of the motherboard, you can get it back in the chamber at the exact position of the back of the gpu. Since the 690 has a plit hard drive cage and you can remove either the top or bottom part, that'll give you even more room to play with if you need it.

You can take a look at this pic here and see the cutouts for running cables. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/fullimage.php?image=21985

I did find a pic of someone with a crossfire config that may help.

Thats really helpful man.. But just wanted to know if I am getting HAF 912 Advanced at the same price as 690 II Advanced, then shouldn't I go with the former as it supports USB 3.0 as well..!! What say..??
Just curious to know..

Glad the pics helped.

Well if they're the same price and you value usb 3.0 ports over the hdd dock on the 690, then go with that one. The advanced version of the 912 evens out most of other features, plus I kind of like that the 2.5" bay that can be mounted in place of the top half of the 3.5" bay. Whatever you choose though, it's going to be a good case.
