Ok I have the slk1600 and it doesnt come with any included fans but two 80mm fan mounts. How do I go about buying and installing these fans?

Yes. Go to svc.com or directron.com or jab-tech.com and buy two 80mm fans. Panaflo are the best with good airflow and low noise. To make it easy on yourself make sure they have a 4 pin connector, or a 3 to 4 pin adapter included. That way you can hook them straight up to your psu.

if you dont care about noise and good airflow, then yes. No that is not good enough. Dont go cheapo on your fans, cheap fans are loud and dont move alot of air.

Not go cheap on even FANS?!?!? wow is there ANYTHING there is ok to go a bit cheap on while buying your pc?

they are a little better, but still will be loud. Look for something that is under 25db. these say 28. And when a no name company says 28db it usually means 38db.

Those are sleeve bearing, I would get ball bearing fans. Better quality and will last longer

I got one of these this week. I was really impressed with the quality of this fan. At 80x34.5mm, it's very substantial.
High setting moves the air, but is audible. Medium setting still moves quite a bit of air, but is very close to silent.

Bear in mind that the people that typically post in this forum are addicted to silent, ice-cold computers. If you don't care how noisy it is or what your case temperatures are like the other 99% of the population, the first ones you suggested should be fine. Just remember that this is an enthusiast forum, so you should take the responses as such.
