I believe this is my first deal post, so be gentle.

I was looking for someplace to store my mounting burned disc collection. I was planning on storing them in slim cases in a box like this, but then found a more affordable, space saving option at Buy.com. I didn't see any prices for these wallets approaching Buy.com's.

Check it out if you're interested. I ordered two and still received free shipping even though the order total was <$25.

What's the quality like on these cases?

You got shipping because that item has the 'green' truck, which means tht it gets free shipping regardless of price.

Case Logic makes some of the better cases. Free shipping makes this a good deal. link to amazon with user reviews.

Looks like a very decent deal. I am wondering if pages are removable. It makes it easy to rearrange your CDs as your collection grows.

The zoomed picture at Case Logic's site makes it appear that way to me. Seems like that makes this an even better deal!

It's a nice case at a great price. I bought one at Walgreens during their BF sale. It was $15 - a $10 MIR as part of their 6 hour sale on Black Friday. $10 without a rebate is a hell of a deal if you ask me.

BTW.. I just ordered one and got free shipping. I can always use another one. I had to select budget shipping to get free shipping. That's ok because I don't care when I get it as long as it's only $10.

I used to save all my backed up discs in those thin cases, but it got to be a PITA because you couldn't really organize them or get to the one you wanted quickly. I now use these disc folders. Much more space efficient and it's much easier to find the disc you're after IMO.

This works perfectly for me. I was planning on getting a 4GB Muvo2 and this puts my purchase just over $200, and with $15 off $200 coupon, I picked it up for $125 and got a good deal on a Christmas gift!

Thanks OP!

288 Disc CD/DVD Case for $9.95 + s/h

How is the quality of those cases? Are they sturdy enough to actually hold 288 discs?
Also, what's the difference between the two? Shipping weight of 3.5 and 4.5 lb. looks scary. Are they really that heavy? Is the inside of the sleeves softly padded?

The quality is actually pretty good considering it's $9.95, I dont know what the difference between the 2 are, but I bought them these earlier off AT or HardForum for the same price. I can't find the original thread where I found it, and I forgot which one I had actually ordered.

I can look for my invoice (if I can find it) and it's not actually that heavy. The only problem with the ones I ordered (I ordered 2) was they had these plastic pieces in them which looks like thongs so I had to remove them 288 times (times 2) which was a pain in the ass. Kinda hard to describe but I'll post pictures later today since I am about to goto sleep now.

It's listed as waterproof, I highly doubt it if it was fully submerged. Since there are openings at the top near the zippers.

I've purchased several Case Logic wallets in the past and they are good quality storage options. Great find! Bought 2 for a total of 22 bucks using the 7-9 day shipping.

I'm a big fan of Case Logic. I already have a 72 CD Wallet from them and it's a very nice, quality-designed one. I too need room to put my huge pile of burned CD's so I bought one of these too!

yea no kidding. no easy access that way. and cheap slim cases just stack up in huge piles of uselessness.

as for the cheaper cases, i don't trust them. i've had a few and they tend to stick to the discs or the perm marker transfer onto the plastic. caselogic sleeves are better quality, the build quality is just better.

Nice price. I'm going to check for some buy.com coupons first. Might get some x-mas gifts as well. Definately buying that case though.
