Case opinion please...

Hi, I am debating wheter to get this one or the Antec Case the new one, Antec 1080.

What I like about the cybertech one is the neon light and the window one but the drawback is the psu is not as good as Antec 1080 one.



I think price is not the issue since both of them are about the same... just a little bit difference.

Can someone give me input what I should go with?

The prices are nowhere near each other!

The cybertech alone costs $55

The antec 1080 costs around $180!!!!!!

I'd go with the cybertech, but neon lights run hotter than cold cathodes

You can also get the best of both worlds with the cybertech + light, $60 psu, and a $1 cheap filter, which will be similar to the 1080

no, I can get Antec 1080 for $135 from a friend.


The cybertech one is around 125 with neon and window. so the price are about the same...

so please another comment please. I would really appreciate it.

edit: I am also thinking about the newer model that 1080 has. I believe it has the usb and firewire connector in the front.

since $$ isn't an option, the 1080 wins by a landslide

It sure beats the cyber with its pos psu

And remember, neon lights run hotter than cold cats, and may up your internal case temp

So go with the 1080!

Ever heard the expression "CHEAP IS EXPENSIVE" Antec makes a dang good case. I have the SX 635. Ive seen the and heard about the 1080. Ive build several high end gameing systems in the 1030 and 1040. Those are the cases before the 1080. The 1080 has the TRUE Power PS. Each connection actualy has its on own power. this meeans that each connection istn sharring power. Spend a little extra, get an antec!!
